Grade 10.9 structural bolts are made from alloy steel and receive quenching and tempering for use in steel-structure connections. Manufactured to GB/T 1228, GB/T 3098.1 and ISO 898-1, the fasteners are intended to provide high tensile and yield strength and improved fatigue resistance for sustained static and dynamic loading.

Bolts are supplied as a matched set with nut and washer; the washer provides a uniform bearing surface and the assembly helps reduce loosening under vibration. Available surface finishes include hot-dip galvanizing and phosphating.
