Integrated hex nut with an integral flange and an all-metal self-locking thread form. The deformed thread section produces clamping force to resist loosening under vibration; there is no nylon insert. The flange increases bearing area and helps distribute pressure, reducing the need for a separate flat washer.
Offered in strength classes 8, 10 and 12 in carbon steel or alloy steel with black oxide or zinc plating. Shown to the standards GB/T 6187, DIN 6927 and ASME B18.2.2, it is suitable for high-temperature, high-vibration service and commonly specified for machinery, automotive components and engineering equipment.
