Product Details
An all-metal self-locking nut produced without a nylon insert. Locking function is achieved by partial deformation of the thread, which generates friction torque to resist loosening from vibration and impact. The absence of a polymer insert makes these nuts suitable for elevated-temperature applications where nylon-insert lock nuts are unsuitable.
Offered in strength Classes 8, 10 and 12 in carbon steel and alloy steel, with black oxide or zinc plating. Supplied to GB/T 6184, GB/T 6185, GB/T 6187, DIN 980 and ASME B18.2.2 standards; confirm applicable standard, thread form and size when ordering. Typical uses include automotive assemblies, engineering machinery, transport equipment and other high-temperature equipment.
